In this webinar, we discussed the process developed and utilized for an actual state-of-the-art ZNE building retrofit, from concept through construction integration. We also went over the IBEW Local 58 ZNE Center case study, highlighting the collaboration and technology deployed. Collaboration was carefully and deliberately woven into every step of the process and is an important aspect, directly related to the roaring success of the project. Annie Koch from Consumer Energy also joined us to go over the Consumer Zero Net Energy Pilot Program.

 

Diana Nash – Client Solutions Consultant

Diana is a Client Solutions Consultant with Energy Sciences. Diana has leveraged her professional experience in strategic energy management and sales to provide value to the team in a variety of commercial and industrial markets, including automotive, real estate, construction, defense, and energy industries. In 2014, she was the client representative for the IBEW Local 58 ZNE Project. She was involved in the project from feasibility to construction integration.

Mitchell Gleason – Energy Consultant

Mitchell works as an Energy Consultant with Energy Sciences. He has spent the last 8 years honing his skills in the energy efficiency arena, specifically in relation to Commissioning, Re-Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning, Energy Modeling, Commercial and Industrial Energy Auditing/ Operations, and Project Management/ Coordination. His task-oriented mindset and ability to work with a wide range of personalities has led to many successful projects over his career.

Annie Koch- Consumers ZNE Program Manager

Annie Koch, PE, LEED AP is a Senior Engineer with DNV GL’s Program Development and Implementation team. She specializes in technical assessments of high-performance and Zero Net Energy (ZNE) buildings and communities. By analyzing these projects through energy modeling, daylight modeling, cost-benefit analyses, and solar feasibility studies, Annie holistically advises on passive sustainability, energy efficient systems, resiliency, PV sizing, electrification, and LEED. Over the past three years, she has aided in the design and implementation of the award-winning Consumers Energy’s Zero Net Energy Pilot Program.
