Accounting Specialist - Metro Detroit, Hybrid

Join our team of zealous energy-efficiency superheroes.

This position has a home-based office in Metro Detroit and requires some on-site work at our Berkley, MI office.   

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and two or more years of experience processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing
• A firm understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong MS Office skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to identify process improvements

Day–to–Day

• Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
• Assists with the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
• Assists with account reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assesses current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes to improve timeliness, control, and accuracy.
• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
