Building Envelope- Closing the Gap

On May 22, 2019, Diana Nash, Client Solution Consultant, and Sonya Pouncy, CEM, CMVP, LEED-AP, Senior Engineer, presented a webinar, Building Envelope- Closing the Gap. Nash held contracts for all phases of the IBEW Local 58 Zero Net Energy (ZNE) project from concept through construction integration. This was a project that took an outdated 1964 building and turned it into a state-of-the-art ZNE Center. Pouncy has years of experience as a mechanical engineer and is an active member of ASHRAE, a group whose energy standard the new Michigan Energy Code is partially based off. Their combined expertise makes for an informational hour-long webinar that focused on Zero Net Energy (ZNE) best practices and challenges with new Michigan Energy Codes.
